Research Study Details

Who Can Participate?

  • Men and women aged 18-65 years old

  • Those who can read, speak, and write the English language

  • Those with little experience (less than 20 sessions) of meditation or yoga

  • Those who want to lower their stress levels

  • Those who are able to commit to 30 minutes per day for 6 weeks

  • Those with access to a bluetooth-enabled smartphone

  • Those who have no diagnosed cardiovascular, metabolic, renal, or respiratory physical health conditions

  • Those who have no psychiatric diagnoses 

  • Those who are not taking any cardioactive medications, including antidepressants, antipsychotics, benzodiazepines, or antihypertensives

  • Those who are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study period
