Research Study Details
The goal for this study is to see how certain stress reduction activities (for example, breathing exercises) can affect the body and mind.
Results from this study can potentially show how managing the symptoms of stress will be a bit easier and could potentially reduce the risk of stress-related illnesses for many people.
You can participate in this study from your own home. Participants will need a quiet, isolated space to complete the activities and will also need access to a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone.
You will be asked to commit 30 minutes per day for 6 weeks.
The research study will take place in February and March of 2022.
After completing the 6-week study, you will receive a $100 gift card for Amazon.com.
No partial payments will be administered. That is, if you sign up and participate for only 2 weeks, you will not be compensated for your time.
Who Can Participate?
Men and women aged 18-65 years old
Those who infrequently practice (0-4 times per month) meditation or yoga
Those who are able to commit to 30 minutes per day for 6 weeks
